Christopher Grant Conness of Fort Lauderdale Florida a stockbroker formerly registered with GF Investment Services LLC is referenced in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim which was settled to resolve accusations that (1) real estate securities were in no way suitable for the customer and (2) transactions effected by Conness while associated with GF Investment Services caused the customer to suffer losses. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 19-01952 (Dec. 19, 2019).

FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that Conness is the subject of three more customer initiated investment related disputes involving allegations of the stockbroker’s wrongdoing while employed by GF Investment Services. Specifically, a customer filed an investment related complaint pertaining to Conness’ activities on April 21, 2017 in which the customer sought damages estimated to exceed $5,000.00 based upon accusations that real estate investment trust and annuity transactions were unsuitable for the customer given the customer’s objectives for investing and concerns about risks.

Conness is referenced in another customer initiated investment related arbitration claim on May 16, 2018 where the customer requested $100,001.00 in damages founded on allegations of unauthorized and unregistered securities transactions which Conness facilitated when the stockbroker was associated with GF Investment Services. FINRA Arbitration No. 18-01871 (May 16, 2018). An additional customer initiated investment related arbitration claim concerning Conness’ conduct was resolved for $10,000.00 in damages supported by accusations that alternative investment recommendations failed to be suitable in view of the customer’s objectives for investing, tolerance for risk or financial needs; transactions effected in the customer’s account were handled in a negligent manner; and fiduciary duties had been breached by the stockbroker in reference to real estate securities that caused the customer to suffer unwarranted investment losses. FINRA Arbitration No. 18-00798 (Feb. 1, 2019).

Conness’ registration with GF Investment Services has been terminated as of August 8, 2017. He has been employed by Madison Avenue Securities LLC since August 7, 2017.
