On January 23, 2002, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Cooke’s activities in which the customer requested damages estimated to exceed $5,000.00 based upon allegations that equity trades effected in the customer’s account were not suitable for the customer. Thereafter, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim concerning Cooke’s activities was resolved for $55,000.00 in damages supported by allegations that unsuitable stock and mutual fund recommendations had been made to the customer. National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Arbitration No. 03-1885 (Sept. 15, 2004).
