Gary Michael Strange, of Raleigh, North Carolina, a stockbroker formerly registered with Principal Securities Inc., has been named in a customer initiated investment related civil action on August 1, 2016, based upon allegations that he made arrangements to borrow monies from a customer, wherein Strange misrepresented the purpose for needing the customer’s funds as well as the terms and tax liability pertaining to the borrowing arrangement.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure also reveals that on August 2, 2002, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Strange’s conduct, in which the customer requested $6,634.21 in damages based upon allegations that he induced the customer’s variable life insurance policy purchase due to misrepresentations about costs and expenses.

Strange’s registration with Principal Securities, Inc. ended on January 4, 2016. Since December 18, 2015, he has been registered with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc.
