Cetera Advisors Accused Of Private Placement Fraud
Omar K. Henry of New York New York a stockbroker formerly employed by Cetera Advisors LLC is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on April 9, 2018 in which the customer sought $451,844.09 in damages based upon accusations that direct participation program transactions were placed in the customer’s account that were not suitable for the customer.
Henry’s registration with Cetera Advisors LLC was terminated on December 31, 2016. His prior employer, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, terminated him on April 2, 2015, amid an internal investigation into Henry’s potential violations of the firm’s policy pertaining to the placing of customer signatures on account documentation.
