Investors Accuse Cetera of Fraud And Misrepresentation
Mark Angelo Senofonte of Edison New Jersey a stockbroker currently registered with Cetera Investment Services LLC is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on June 12, 2018 where the customer requested $12,500.00 in damages supported by allegations that (1) unsuitable real estate security transactions were executed int the customer’s account (2) misrepresentations had been made to the customer and (3) Cetera Investment Services LLC failed to supervise Senofonte’s activities in the customer’s account.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Senofonte has been identified in three more customer initiated investment related disputes containing accusations of Senofonte’s misconduct while employed with Cetera Investment Services LLC and PrimeVest Financial Services. Specifically, on July 14, 2011, a customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Senofonte’s activities in which the customer sought $5,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that the customer’s variable annuity had been misrepresented and purchased without the customer’s authorization.
On December 2, 2011, another customer initiated investment related complaint regarding Senofonte’s activities was settled for $26,455.07 in damages founded on allegations that Senofonte failed to make required disclosures about the terms and conditions of a variable annuity purchased by the customer. Moreover, on May 2, 2018, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Senofonte’s conduct where the customer requested $25,000.00 in damages supported by allegations of misrepresentation and undue investment losses pertaining to the customer’s real estate security investment.
